I currently have the "manga style". Maybe not the traditional big eyes, long eyelashes, shoujo style, but still. And what bothers me is that it has no curves.
I absolutely hate how most of the time anime doesn't include that people have different shapes and sizes.
It's just PERFECT.
There's only a few variations; men, women, kids, elderly. and the pedo prick around the corner
How many times have you seen a pear shape with a triangle face and long legs? Or an athletic type with muscles instead of those slender shoulders?
I mean, c'mon. Since when do girls only vary in height, boobs size and occasionally eye colour? but mainly boobs, everybody loves boobs
It's ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong. I still absolutely adore looking at this sort of style.
I love it when people have this sort of style. It can be so adorable.
It just annoys me when I have it.
I want my characters to be different from each other, so that I can tell them apart only by looking at their shadows.
Basically, I appreciate it in the hands of other, but not when I'm holding it.
Hopefully, that will change over time and I will finally settle on some non-to-little-manga-influenced art style. someday.

GAAAH. Sorry guys, I just have this late night emotional art wave after looking at some pretty styles of artists around deviantart ; - ;
